The Tampa Bay Backgammon Club hosted a Backgammon Tournament on August 14th at
the Hampton Inn in Tarpon Springs. In the Advanced division the winner
was Bob Carpenter with Roland Leutered coming in second. In the Intermediate
division the winner was Bill Allard with Moti Bernstein coming in second.
The Tampa Bay Backgammon Club will host its next monthly tournament on September 11 in Tarpon Springs at the Hampton Inn on US Hwy 19. There will be two divisions: Intermediate - $10 entry, and Advanced - $50 entry. We hope that we will have a full field of 16 in each division for both tournaments! Please register early to avoid disapointment!
